Fall is just around the corner, and Bucks County's festivals are ushering in the season this weekend.

Here's a look at events through the rest of September:

Join in the Scarecrow Festival at Peddler's Village

Want to win $300 and have some frightfully good fun doing it?

Enter this year's Scarecrow Competition at Peddler's Village, one of the many autumn activities planned in Bucks County to celebrate the harvest season. There are seven categories including a "Friday Night 'Its Alive'" and another just for children. Visitors to the village in Lahaska can judge the entries which will line its pathways as they have each fall for more than 40 years. Entries will be judged from now through Oct. 14 and on display through Oct. 27.

Fall Festival at Shady Brook Farm

Shady Brook Farm will begin celebrating fall season with their annual Fall Festival starting Sept. 13 and running every weekend from Friday to Sunday through Oct. 30. Located at 931 Stony Hill Rd, Yardley, the festival offers over 25 attractions included with admissions, like a giant slide, peanuts corn maze or wagon rides to the pumpkin patch. Tickets range from $15 to $35, depending on the package or the day.

Bolton Mansion’s Fall Festival

On Sept. 14, the Historic Bolton Mansion hosts its fall festival. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The mansion will have food trucks, a beer garden, crafters and other vendors, bounce houses, princess makeovers, a Revolutionary War encampment, and more.

The Historic Bolton Mansion is at 85 Holly Drive in Levittown.

Fall Food Truck & Music Fest in Warminster

On Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Warminster Community Park, 350 East Bristol Road, the event will feature 11 different food trucks selling delicious foods, desserts and sweet treats. There will be crafters, vendors, children’s activities, the country bandY’All Or Nothing,theJourneytribute bandHighway Run, as well as sports cars from Sports Car Club of America and motorcycles from Blue Comet Motorcycle Club.

Admission is free and proceeds from the event will benefit Warminster’s Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center.

Kruisin’ with the K9s

The Warrington Township Police Department’s third annual Kruisin’ with K9s Car Show will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 3-7 p.m. (rain date Sept. 15) at the Shops at Valley Square,1501 Main St., Warrington.The event will feature vintage,antique and customcars, food, music, a moon bounce, a 50/50 drawing, a raffle and lots of K9s.

Police K9 units from Warrington and other local police departments will be on hand for K9 demonstrations. There will also be an opportunity to see police vehicles up close and meet Warrington Police Department K9s Jolie, Murphy and their K9 counterparts from the K9 units in attendance. Proceeds from the event benefit the Warrington Township K9 unit.

Kruisin’ with K9sis free for spectators. For those who want to enter their car, the cost is $20 the day of the car show and there will be dashboard plaques given to the first 75 cars that sign up. More than 40 trophies will be awarded in a variety of categories.

McConkey’s Market

Head to Washington Crossing Historic Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 14 for artisan crafts — including pottery, glass, and clothing — handmade jewelry, and upcycled furniture and home goods. Admission is free, and the market will also feature food trucks and live music by Chris Huff.

Bristol Sunday Stroll

Join food, craft and other vendors, along with the shops and eateries of Mill Street and the surrounding streets near the Bristol riverfront, for the monthly Sunday Stroll. The event runs Sunday, Sept. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. on Mill Street.

Falls Township’s Food Truck Festival and Touch a Truck/Family Festival

Plenty of family fun, food and fundraising are planned as part of the Falls Township’s Food Truck Festival and Touch a Truck/Family Festival for the weekend of Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 , both at Falls Township Community Park off Mill Creek Road.

The third annual Food Truck Festival is Friday, Sept. 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. "Guests can purchase a variety of foods from seven food trucks while listening to live music from House Party. A variety of children’s activities and yard games will also be available. Adults age 21+ can purchase alcohol as part of a fundraiser for Fairless Hills Fire Department. Fireworks will conclude the day’s festivities," according to a township press release.

The township’s annual Touch a Truck/Family Festival event will return on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a sensory friendly quiet hour where "truck operators will refrain from flashing their lights or blowing their air horns during this time." In the event of inclement weather, Touch a Truck/Family Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Yardley Harvest Day

Visit Downtown from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21, (rain date Sept 28), for Yardley Harvest Day.In addition to a wide variety of handmade crafts and artwork, great food, local and civic groups and businesses, there will be live music and entertainment. This year marks 55 years of Yardley Harvest Day.

New Hope Arts & Craft Festival

Over 160 juried fine artists and craftsmen will exhibit their work Sept. 21 and 22 in the New Hope-Solebury High School parking lots using media such as oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, fine and fun jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, fiber, furniture, wearable art, glass art, photography, outsider art, and more.

A free bus is available from the festival parking to South Main Street at the Bucks County Playhouse, where visitors can take in all of New Hope's shops and restaurants. Admission is $5. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Bristol Township Fall Festival

Bristol Township Fall Festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy the day filled with games, music, a corn maze, and much more.

Bristol Township Municipal Building, 2501 Bath Road

Neshaminy Creek Oktoberfest

Neshaminy Creek will celebrate Oktoberfest on Sept. 21, from noon to 7 p.m., at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company. This event will feature traditional German beers, a yodeling contest and live music performances, amongst other activities.

Warrington Community Day

Warrington Day celebrates community and business on Sept. 28 from noon – 5:30 p.m. with bounce houses, food, music, a rock wall, displays from Emergency Services, a fishing derby, and a K9 demonstration at John Paul Park at Lower Nike, 301 Folly Road. Starting at 6 p.m. the fun continues at Lions Pride Park, 3129 Bradley Road with live music played by the John Austin Band, food, and fireworks at dusk.

There is free parking at Upper Nike Park on Bradley Road and Folly Road, and a shuttle service from Lion’s Pride Park and John Paul Park at Lower Nike starting at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m.

NOVA Upstander Day

NOVA’s Upstander Day will take place on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. atBucks County Community College Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks 1304 Veterans Hwy, Bristol.This community event is free, will include family-friendly games, crafts, entertainment, food trucks anddemonstrations by first responders.
